3.6 Revoking a user’s access during the event

How to remove access for a team member and what happens to their data.

If a team member leaves the company, changes roles, or should no longer have access to Helpie, you can revoke their access from the console.

How to revoke access

1. Go to Users in the console sidebar.

2. Find the user.

3. Disable their account.

Once disabled, the user can no longer log in to the app or access any data.

What happens to their data?

All interactions captured by that user remain in the console. Nothing is deleted.

You still have full access to view, edit, and export their interactions. The data belongs to your account, not to the individual user.

Can you re-enable them later?

Yes. If the situation changes, you can re-enable the user at any time. They’ll be able to log in again and see their existing interactions.
