6.4 Will you sign an NDA?

Why we use standardised agreements instead of individual NDAs.

Written By Ravi Kiran

Some companies request a Non-Disclosure Agreement before using a third-party platform. Here's our approach.

Short answer: We don't sign individual NDAs.

As a company building a global SaaS platform, we follow the same approach as cloud software companies like Google and Salesforce. We rely on standardised agreements — our publicly available Terms of Use and Privacy Policy — to comprehensively address data security, privacy, and confidentiality.

Why not?

Entering into individual legal agreements with each customer would create operational complexity that doesn't serve you or us well. Our standard documents are regularly updated to reflect industry best practices and are designed to protect your data just as rigorously as a custom NDA would.

What protects your data instead

Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy cover:

·       Confidentiality of all data you capture using Helpie

·       Restrictions on how we use and store your data

·       Your ownership rights over your captured data

·       Our obligations around data security and privacy

These are the same protections an NDA would provide, built into the agreements that govern every Helpie account.

If you have specific concerns

We understand that some organisations have strict procurement requirements. If you have specific questions about our data handling practices that aren't addressed by our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, email us at prioritysupport@helpie.io. We're happy to discuss your concerns directly.
