5.3 Can an end user access another user’s data?
How data visibility works between users and what the admin can see. A common question, especially when multiple team members are capturing data at the same event.

Short answer: No.
Each end user sees only their own interactions in the app. They cannot view, edit, or access interactions captured by other team members.
What the admin sees
You, as the Account Admin, see everything in the console. All interactions from all users across all events. You have full visibility.
What this means in practice
• User A captures 30 interactions. User B captures 25. Neither can see the other’s data in the app.
• You see all 55 in the console, with each interaction tagged by the user who captured it.
• When you export to Excel, all interactions are included in a single file, with a column showing which user captured each one.
Can I change this?
The current data visibility model is fixed: users see only their own data. This is by design — it keeps things clean and prevents accidental edits to a colleague’s interactions.
In the console under Settings, there is a “Hide past data visibility” toggle. When enabled, users can only see data from the current event — not from previous events they were part of.
Next steps
• Adding and managing users (2.4)
• Revoking a user’s access during the event (3.6)
